IT Manager
Growing cosmetics manufacturer and distributor is looking for an individual who is versatile and knowledgeable in all aspects of Information Technology. We are a small privately-owned company in need of someone who can ‘do it all’.  You will need to document all aspects of the department including disaster recovery plans, as well as identifying areas that need technical improvements and recommending course of action. You must have strong project management skills, good problem solving skills, excellent communication, great follow up and at least 5 years of relevant experience. 
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of the following:
Working knowledge of networks including VLANS
Working knowledge and administration of Windows 2008 servers
Working knowledge of VMware ESXi including clustering and VSA storage
Strong knowledge of computer components, peripherals, and popular application software including Microsoft Office 2007-2010
PHP and HTML to maintain and update websites is a plus
Working knowledge of Quantum NDX deduplication backup servers
Working knowledge of Mobotix IP surveillance cameras systems with NAS recording
Knowledge of the Pick/D3 programming language as well as willingness to improve programming skills in Pick/D3
Able to support a highly customized ERP system with limited availability of outside programming support
Experience with migrating to new ERP systems a big plus
Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to train and explain technical information to staff members and management
This position is responsible for:
Maintaining servers, backups and individual computers, including installing and updating software
Computer updates, repairs and maintenance and replacements when necessary
Maintain multifunction copier devices including account management and basic troubleshooting
Maintaining all aspects of multiple websites
Maintaining all databases 
Maintaining routers, firewalls, switches
Maintaining dial up and site to site VPN
Negotiating purchases of all IT equipment and service contracts
Coordinating and scheduling of all maintenance
Remote support for off-site outside sales staff
Maintaining and administration of Shoretel VOIP telephone system
Maintaining Disaster recovery systems including generators and climate control
Maintain ACT! CRM server and clients
Maintaining and supporting the ERP system as well as training users
Key player in the implementation of a new customized version of the ERP system
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Position is in Simi Valley. Office Hours are Monday – Friday 7am-4pm. Position requires some after-hours availability as needed.

Eastern Regional Trainer

Position Description

The Regional Trainer will serve as a key partner in driving sales for the derma e® brand within their assigned territory by training and coaching retail partner team members and broker reps on product knowledge, selling techniques and derma e® points of difference. The Regional Trainer will partner with the Sales Management Team and Director of Education to strategize on how to improve overall education execution, key category penetration and attain sales objectives. The Regional Trainer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external management.


  • Responsible for working with sales management to achieve sales expectations for their assigned territory
  • Demonstrate and teach strong product knowledge and selling skills through personal interactions with broker reps, retail partner employees and customers
  • Execute visits to various retail partner locations to educate team members, drive sales and strengthen brand relationships
  • Adapt style and approach to meet the needs of each store, team member and customer, creating appropriate training experiences for each
  • Create and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external management
  • Provide ongoing feedback to Sales Management and Director of Education on the performance of retail partner team members and ways in which to improve their performance
  • Facilitate education seminars to include but not limited to;  new store openings, retail partner specific trainings, cluster trainings, dinner trainings
  • Support and participate in the execution of successful events
  • Accountable for strengthening brand identity by creating visual merchandising consistency within each store
  • Participate in meetings and conference calls to provide partnership and create solutions to address business needs
  • Participate in Sales & Training Meetings and “Train the Trainer” sessions
  • Act as a brand ambassador representing the derma e® brand and culture in a positive and professional manner through personal example and coaching of team members
  • Uphold derma e® dress code guidelines and consistently demonstrate a polished and professional appearance


  • Must live in a metro area within the assigned territory with close proximity to a major airport
  • 3+  years experience in a retail selling role
  • 3+  years of experience in training and facilitation
  • Skin care, beauty, or health and wellness experience preferred
  • Proven ability to facilitate educational seminars, ensuring participant learning and mastery of content
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales through developing teams and providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to listen and understand the needs of the customer, connecting products to their needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management in a fast paced, high growth, changing environment
  • Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Effective planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Possesses professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
  • Possess a personal vehicle to be utilized for business purposes
