Dads are pretty cool.
They teach you how to ride a bike, how to throw a football, and how to laugh at yourself when you make a mistake. Dads have spent their whole life teaching us things and making us laugh with their so bad they are funny jokes. Now it is our turn to help them out. Let’s take the opportunity to teach them some important lessons about taking care of their skin.
To all the dads and men out there, listen up:
Welcome to 2017, the year where men will finally realize that a good skincare routine is meant to bless everyone and not just women. 2017 will be that year where the men who already love to cleanse, exfoliate, tone, and moisturize can come out of the shadows and be proud of their flawless complexions. There will be no more excuses for not taking care of your skin. After all it is so easy, just follow 4 simple steps: cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize, and protect.
Step 1: Cleanse. The world is a dirty place. Every single day you are bombarded with dirt, impurities, pollution, sweat, and countless other elements that layer your skin with bacteria. Washing your face in the morning and night is an easy way to keep your skin (and your bed sheets) fresh and clean. We recommend our Tea Tree and E Face and Body Wash for men. It is so easy and can be used in the shower to wash your face and body. Plus it has all of the added benefits of Tea Tree and Vitamin E Oil like the fact that it is a natural deodorizer. Tea Tree is also a natural antiseptic, so you can clean and heal your body after a long day of doing manly men things.
Step 2: Exfoliate. Okay, hear me out guys. Everyone’s skin needs to be exfoliated at least once a week. Dead skin cells build up and will eventually clog your pores and help contribute to the appearance of blackheads. Use our Microdermabrasion scrub to get rid of dead and dull skin. It will also leave your skin baby butt smooth which will give you the confidence to increase your dad joke game 100%. For people with skin prone to breakouts, try our Very Clear Acne Scrub instead!
Step 3: Moisturize. This is arguably the most important step. Finding a good moisturizer will help keep your skin youthful and smooth. Using a good moisturizer can also help your skin look less oily throughout the day. We have a multitude of moisturizers depending on what your skin needs. I recommend the Vitamin C Moisturizer. The formula is light and it absorbs right in. It also has a very nice citrus smell that is not too strong and insanely masculine.
Step 4: Protect. I hope I don’t have to convince anyone (man or woman) to protect their skin from the sun with sunscreen. Sun damage is real folks, and it is dangerous. It is so easy to slab on some sunscreen a few times a day if it means protecting your skin in the long run. There is nothing more masculine than protection, so hop on the sunscreen boat fellas. You’ll thank us later.
Join the club and up your skincare game guys! (At least wash and moisturize your skin….please?
P.S. Ladies, help the guys in your life jump on the skincare bandwagon by getting them some essentials for Father’s Day!
