4 Natural Remedies for Scar Treatment

If you don’t already have a scar gel in your medicine cabinet, make your own with Aloe Vera. It has wonderful healing properties and possesses the power to help restore new skin tissue. Apply the gel over the scar and massage gently. For best results, let it sit on the skin for at least 30 minutes and then rinse with warm water. Repeat 2 times a day until desired results are obtained.

Apple Cider Vinegar is not only great for removing dead skin cells, but it also helps balance the body’s pH levels. Mix the Apple Cider Vinegar with water, dip your cotton ball into the solution and then apply generously over the scarred area. Leave the mixture on for 15 minutes and rinse with cold water. Don’t forget to moisturize after using this natural remedy!

Baking Soda is another way to remedy scar tissue and can be found right there in your kitchen! If you don’t own a microdermabrasion scrub, Baking Soda is a great alternative for buffing away dead cells that lay on the skin’s surface. Mix the Baking Soda and water together until you get a paste-like consistency. Apply onto the skin, let dry for 1 minute, then rinse with warm water. Repeat this process 2-3 times a week.

Tea Tree Oil has many benefits, but did you know it also has antiseptic properties that are great for treating scars and soothing irritated skin? Dip a cotton-swab into the Tea Tree Oil and apply generously over the damaged area. For fast results, repeat this process 2-3 times a day! Check out all of our DERMA E Tea Tree Oil products!
