Pamper Yourself

Most think of the holiday season as a time for giving. While that is the spirit, neglecting yourself can ruin your holiday glow. Taking time to pamper yourself is one of the most important gifts this season. Whether it be relaxing in a warm bath at home or getting your hair done at a salon, you should pamper yourself at least once this holiday season. Having an at home spa day is just what everyone needs. Here are some of our favorite ways to destress and relax.

Face Masks

Face masks are an easy way to make sure your skin is hydrated while also removing the impurities. DERMA E’s Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask not only is good for dry skin, it also helps smooths wrinkles to leave you with a youthful complexion.

Deep Conditioner

Ever notice your hair can sometimes look like straw? DERMA E is here to help with a DIY deep conditioner. Deep conditioning helps to hydrate, keeping hair healthy, as well as gives it a boost  of shine. Here is what you will need:

10 drops DERMA E SunkissAlba Radiant Glow Oil

2 tablespoons coconut oil

1 tablespoon shea butter

Melt coconut oil and shea butter in microwave. Add SunkissAlba oil. Whip together for 3-5 minutes. Comb through hair, let sit for 30 minutes. Shampoo and condition as normal.

Body Scrubs

Exfoliating is another important step to maintaining a beautiful glow. Making a body scrub doesn’t have to be difficult, here is what you will need:

½ cup organic sugar

½ cup DERMA E Tea Tree and Vitamin E Oil

Mix until blended well. Gently cover skin with the scrub, massaging in a circular motion.

Lip Scrub

A lip scrub is an excellent addition to your at home spa day. Not only does removing the dead skin cells making your lips smooth, it also makes lipstick and lip gloss application easier.

3-4 drops of DERMA E Argan Oil Blend

1 drop of Vanilla extract

1 teaspoon of fine Brown sugar

Lightly massage into lips in a circular motion and rinse off with cool water. Make sure to follow up with your favorite natural lip balm.

Moisturize

Dry, flaky skin isn’t going to go well with the outfit you planned for the family picture. Moisturizing after a shower, especially after a scrub, will help keep your skin soft and picture ready.
